Dr David Brown serves as Managing Director of Alchemy Biomedical Consulting, Ltd, consulting to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries from his base in Cambridge, UK.  He has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry both in research and in senior executive roles. He served with 4 of the top 10 Pharma companies: Zeneca, Pfizer, Glaxo, and Hoffman La-Roche; and also as President, CEO and Board member of Cellzome AG.  Since 2005 Dr Brown has pursued a career as an independent consultant.  He serves as Chairman of Amura Ltd and also of Babraham Bioscience Technologies, both of Cambridge UK, and as Senior Advisor to the CEO at OneWorld Health, San Francisco, where his work is dedicated to bringing medicines to the poorest of the poor in the world. He is also a Founder and Chairman of the charity Friends of Manjushree Vidyapith School and Orphanage which supports rescue of destitute young children in Arunachal Pradesh, NE India. Dr Brown received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
