Denis Hochstrasser

Prof Hochstrasser is Director of the Clinical Pathology Department of the Geneva University Hospital and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva. He is also Head of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory of the Geneva University Hospital. He is full Professor both to Geneva's Department of Structure Biology & Bioinformatics, Medicine Faculty and to the School of Pharmacy, Sciences Faculty. He is a practicing internist and clinical chemist, and runs an internationally renowned proteomics research group. Hochstrasser is a founder of Geneva Proteomics Inc. (GeneProt), and Co-Founder of Geneva Bioinformatics S.A. (GeneBio) and the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics (SIB). He received his MD from the University of Geneva Medical School.
