Peter Karp
Dr Karp is Director, Bioinformatics Research Group at the Artificial Intelligence Centre at SRI International. Previously he has held positions at the US National Centre for Biotechnology Information and at Pangea Systems. He has developed the BioCyc collection of Pathway/Genome Databases that includes the EcoCyc and MetaCyc databases. Karp has also published several papers on interoperation of bioinformatics databases. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
